Villa Moon is developed on a square-shaped site, where—based on the client’s request—the building is positioned in the eastern rear half of the land and aligned with the main entrance axis. This placement ensures an efficient site planning strategy and a clear, well-defined villa entrance design.
The architectural concept focuses on the building’s relationship with three key site edges:
- the western garden and landscape area,
- the northern neighboring plot,
- and the eastern neighboring plot.
One of the main design challenges was to emphasize the entrance perspective of the villa while simultaneously enhancing the residential view toward the garden and the panoramic garden view from inside the building. To achieve this, a 2D architectural design approach was developed, integrating the entrance axis with the western elevation to create a harmonious indoor–outdoor panoramic visual connection.
Considering the proximity of the northern and eastern neighbors, privacy and visual screening became essential. Therefore, each window and opening is equipped with a protective architectural shell to maintain visual privacy, filter sunlight, and enhance the villa’s modern façade.
This design strategy results in a modern villa architecture that balances privacy, garden views, and a strong entrance identity, offering both aesthetic coherence and functional comfort.
